From a convo with BurlingK, until I or someone translates this into something sane: I'd love some sort of issue tracker... but what I'm thinking... is an issue tracker for anyone for anything I've had 2 different food related items that I've complained about recently... (a bone in a tin of tuna, and lack of chicken in a chicken and bacon pasta meal)... Say, if shops, companies etc. had a profile... then someone finds an issue with their product, say a bone in a tin of fish... they log it as an issue And it's all in the open. With some level of verification as well. I'd like the idea of a system where people are verified, have to physically meet people to verify they're real, stuff like that.

I like this idea too, another point I've thought, is set projects. For example someone wants to grow a specific plant, they could select such a project from a central repository, which would then add in reminders, for example daily ones to water it, and then eventually when to harvest it, and such, with links to all the information relating to that plant for example? I reckon it wouldn't be hard to do something in an XML based format that it would be easy to import to and from. I especially like the idea of having set projects as I know there are people like me who want to do something, and want to use a project management system, but don't want to put the initial time into adding all the reminders and such.

Also, making it have a calendar aspect would suit me well.

For the main dashboard, I can see a "Notes" "Calendar/Today" and perhaps "News" section. The News part could be a OCF wide, and also "friends" news, milestones they've achieved for example. Adding a bit of a social aspect to it.

Yeah, a Calendar of some sort is a must. A task list. The ability to have scheduled tasks, repeated tasks,or just tasks that need to get done (like a check list). The ability to track manpower and various resources, etc. Burlingk (talk) 18:27, 13 October 2013 (UTC)

Looks like we're using Basecamp for this. It seems to work well. Perhaps something to look at in the distant future, but I don't see a particular need for it at the moment? --John (talk) 01:23, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
